Zama Field

Proven Reserves identified over 50 sites eligible for waterflood enhanced recovery schemes for one of our clients at Zama, Alberta.

By injecting water below the oil/water contact, the pressure of a single well was increased, sweeping the oil from the pay upwards, increasing well productivity.

Through the engineering and implementation of these waterfloods, our client was able to discover over $26 million in value, while Proven’s service cost less than $10,000 per pool.

Lubicon Field

Proven Reserves added value to one of our clients in the Lubicon field by drilling infill wells in attic locations in a mature waterflood. Through optimization of water production shut off and introduction of high volume lift in this well, we added $23 million of value to our client. Our engineering time was less than $50,000.
